Fluent in spoken and written English. Ability to communicate in other European languages is desirable.

Ability to manage the crew accommodation department complying with MSC Standard procedures

Experience in the safe handling of all cleaning chemicals used in the hotel/cruise industry

Ability to manage inventories of crew endowments (equipment, linen...)

Ability to manage his/her budget

Ability to work in a harmonious productive team environment

Above average skill in tactful, diplomatic problem and crisis handling

Familiar with and able to use basic Windows–based programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and any current ship management program in use on assigned ship (training provided)
